The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management has successfully concluded its 2026 Global Alliance Education, Training and Development Month (GAETDM), marking another strong year of global learning, professional development, and collaboration across the public relations and communication profession.
Held from 1–30 April 2026, this year’s campaign carried the theme “Future-Ready by Practice,” focusing on trust, responsible AI, and measurable impact in communication practice.
GAETDM 2026 featured two major global webinars: “What We Must Teach Now: Future-Ready PR and Communication Skills for the AI Era” and “What Works Now: Upskilling for AI-Driven PR, Responsible AI, and Long-Term Trust.” Together, the webinars generated 1,112 registrations and 710 live participants from different regions worldwide, reflecting the growing interest of the global communication community in future-ready skills, responsible AI, trust-building, and continuous professional development.
The campaign also demonstrated strong digital engagement through a structured cross-platform social media strategy implemented across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X. More than 35 social media uploads were published throughout the campaign period, including webinar promotions, speaker spotlights, educational resources, video campaigns, event reminders, webinar highlights, and Key Takeaways content designed to extend learning beyond the live sessions.
One of the major highlights of GAETDM 2026 was the participation of Global Alliance Board members and Regional Council members through a global video initiative featuring 16 short video messages from communication leaders across regions. The videos focused on ethical communication, responsible AI adoption, continuous professional development, and future-ready communication skills, further strengthening the campaign’s global participation and visibility.
Campaign insights also showed that educational and professional development-focused content continues to generate meaningful engagement across platforms. Previous Global Alliance digital benchmarks recorded more than 6,400 LinkedIn impressions and 247 reactions, while Instagram generated over 4,700 views and more than 3,100 reach. These insights reinforce the value of structured, learning-focused content within the Global Alliance online community.
GAETDM 2026 further demonstrated the effectiveness of content that highlights leadership participation, educational relevance, global collaboration, and human-centered messaging. The use of reminder posts, speaker spotlights, video content, and webinar Key Takeaways helped sustain campaign visibility and supported the audience journey from awareness to webinar participation.
Beyond participation numbers and digital engagement, GAETDM 2026 reinforced the importance of continuous learning and global collaboration in addressing the rapidly evolving communication landscape. Discussions throughout the campaign emphasized that the future of communication will not only be shaped by technology, but by the ability of professionals to use it responsibly, build trust, communicate ethically, and demonstrate meaningful impact.
GAETDM 2026 once again affirmed the Global Alliance’s commitment to advancing the communication profession through global knowledge-sharing, capability development, and professional collaboration.
The Global Alliance extends its sincere appreciation to all speakers, moderators, Board members, Regional Council members, participating institutions, partners, and audiences who contributed to the success of GAETDM 2026 and looks forward to welcoming the global communication community again for GAETDM 2027.
