The São Paulo Mandate
- Your Director Role – How each member can best add value, contribute, grow & build Global Alliance.
- Annual internal Audit of Board workings – interaction, share of voice, procedures etc.
- Review GA By-laws and produce written policies to support them including Regional Council, Membership Payment, Nomination Committee, Board Meeting Policy etc.
- Membership targets – 100 members by year end 2020.
- Appoint a Director of Education – To enhance Certification of Educational & Training courses provided by our membership as a membership support and benefit.
- Secure a permanent home for Global Alliance located within Europe in 2019.
- Appoint a Director of Ethics – secure the endorsement from EU, United Nations, African Union etc of the Global Principle of Ethical Practice in PR.
- Expend Regional Councils impact and reach.
- Appoint a Director of Membership Services & define Benefits Policy.
- Reactivate the Advisory Board built on knowledge, Experience and Results.
- Appoint a Director of Communications and Digital.
- Return of Awards at WPRF 2023.

The Lima Mandate 2024
- Membership Value: Update the membership benefits infographic to reflect the latest improvements and enhancements of the value for member organizations.
- Global Organizations: Develop a strategy to engage and maintain relationships with global bodies such as the United Nations (UN), the European Union (EU), the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the African Union (AU), the Southern Common Market (Mercosul), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other international bodies.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI): Promote Artificial Intelligence AI Ethical Guidelines among members and global organizations.
- Associations: Create and develop a network and leadership meetings among presidents, chairs, and CEO & COO staff of member associations.
- Universities and Faculties: Create and develop a network and leadership meetings among faculties and deans of member universities and faculties.
- Financial Task Force Committee: Reinvigorate a Financial and Revenue Task Force Committee to lead on improving finance and increasing revenue to sustain organisation into the future, while also allowing reinvestment into our core project objectives.
- International Research & Survey Projects: Develop, lead, or engage in international research and survey projects to generate unique data and rich content related to Public Relations and Communications.
- Best Practices: Share case studies showcasing successful business cases during World PR & Communications Month and recognize the excellence of Public Relations & Communication campaigns, professionals, and organizations through the World Public Relations & Communication Awards.
- Digital and Social Platforms: Develop a strategy and implement urgent changes to improve the Global Alliance digital platforms and social media channels, providing relevant content for different audiences, including students, professionals, and associations.
- Association Management Workshops: Develop and offer workshops to help member associations manage and interact effectively, focused on core business and financial success.
- Academic and Research Council: Reinvigorate the Academic and Research Council to provide guidance, standardization, advancement, and sharing of knowledge created by academics and researchers in the field of Public Relations and Communications. While also developing and promoting our Academic Certification signing up new members.
- Responsible Communication: Advocate for the inclusion of Responsible Communications as the 18th Goal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
