Global Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey

One profession. Many countries. Many experiences. One global benchmark.

For the first time, public relations and communication professionals around the world are being invited to take part in a global, anonymous survey on mental health and wellbeing.

Your experience will help create the profession’s first credible global benchmark — building a clearer picture of mental health and wellbeing across countries, sectors, roles and career stages.

Your experience matters. Add your voice.

The survey closes 30 November 2026.

Why it matters

Public relations and communication professionals play an important role in building trust, strengthening relationships and helping organisations navigate change. We need better global evidence about the mental health and wellbeing of the people doing this work.

The findings will help inform leadership, workplace culture, education, policy, professional practice and future research — and support progress towards mentally healthy workplaces where communication professionals can thrive.

Help build the global picture

For the benchmark to be meaningful, it needs to reflect the diversity of our profession.

Whatever your country, sector, role or career stage, you are invited to participate anonymously. Every response strengthens the evidence and helps build a more representative global picture.

What happens next?

The survey closes on 30 November 2026, with the global results to be published in late January 2027. The findings will establish a benchmark to inform future discussion, research and action across the profession. The campaign brief confirms the planned late-January 2027 global results announcement.

A global partnership

The survey brings together the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), Opinium and Ardent Communications.
