Ambassador Chimezie Ogu, Head of Mission at the Nigerian Embassy in Prague, Czech Republic, hosted a courtesy meeting with Prof. Justin Green, President & CEO of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, and Dr. Ike Neliaku, President and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and Board Member of the Global Alliance.

The meeting, held on 22 May 2026 at the Nigerian Embassy in Prague, focused on strengthening international collaboration in public relations and communication management, as well as discussions surrounding the upcoming World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) 2026.

The World Public Relations Forum is scheduled to take place in Abuja, Nigeria, from 15 to 21 November 2026, and is expected to bring together communication professionals, industry leaders, academics, policymakers, and stakeholders from around the world to discuss the future of public relations and strategic communication.

During the courtesy visit, the parties exchanged views on Nigeria’s growing role in advancing global dialogue within the communications profession and the significance of hosting WPRF 2026 in Abuja.

Prof. Justin Green commended the efforts of NIPR and Nigerian stakeholders in preparing for the global gathering, while Dr. Ike Neliaku highlighted the Forum’s importance in promoting professional excellence, innovation, and international cooperation across the communications industry.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Global Alliance and NIPR to advancing ethical, inclusive, and impactful communication practices worldwide.
